⏱️The Time it Takes to Make Your Own Engagement Ring
Your workshop is a focused, single-day intensive. While the exact time varies based on your chosen design, plan to spend approximately 4 to 6 hours at the bench. It’s an action-packed, highly rewarding day of hands-on crafting.
Classic solitaire rings are entirely completed during your session, meaning you can carry the finished piece home in a ring box that very afternoon, ready for a proposal. If your custom design requires advanced stone setting or intricate final details, you’ll leave the ring for expert post-workshop finishing, and we’ll hand-deliver the final masterpiece shortly after.
🛠️ Real Tools. Real Craftsmanship!
To be clear, this isn’t an online app or a digital ring customizer where you simply press “order.” This is a live, immersive ring-making class in a functioning jewelry studio. You will use real tools, strike the metal, and literally make the ring yourself.
🪙Materials Matter When Building an Engagement Ring
When making your own engagement ring in our DIY Workshop, you can customize it with a combination of materials. First, choose your ring’s color from white, yellow, or rose gold. In some instances, a combination of colors is used to make two-toned or biochromatic engagement rings. You will further customize your engagement ring’s materials by choosing the metal type. Pick from 18K, 14K, or Platinum. All of the metals used are sourced from an SCS-certified 100% recycled supply. This ensures ethical sourcing and environmental sustainability in your wedding jewelry.

No — none at all. Every workshop is one-on-one with a master jeweler who guides you through each step. Most people have never picked up a torch before, and they still walk out with a ring they made themselves.
How long does the workshop take?
Most engagement ring workshops are a full day at the bench, and you take a finished solitaire home the same day in a ring box ready to propose. More intricate settings may need a short post-workshop finishing.
How much does it cost?
Engagement ring workshops start at $2,590, which includes your setting and a lab-grown or natural diamond. The final price depends on your metal, diamond size, and design details.
Can I bring my own diamond or gemstone?
Stone sourcing is part of our service — we source GIA- and IGI-graded diamonds and fine gemstones from legitimate, responsibly sourced suppliers with guaranteed specifications. Heirloom stones, like grandma’s diamond, can be used on a case-by-case basis after evaluation, and a setting fee applies for qualified stones.
Can I make the ring myself for a proposal?
Absolutely. Many people book a solo session to make the ring with their own hands before proposing — we keep it completely discreet so it stays a surprise.
Where are you located?
We are in Carrollton, in the Dallas–Fort Worth area, by appointment only. Couples travel to us from Houston, Austin, San Antonio, Oklahoma, and beyond to make their rings.
