After finishing an undergrad degree, starting a business, moving halfway across the country, and after waiting for four years, Danny finally popped the big question to his high school sweetheart with an engagement ring! Danny was coached step-by-step through the traditional goldsmithing techniques to make this engagement ring himself. He rolled up his sleeves and went hands-on in the process of working with 14k rose gold. He had no prior jewelry making experience but was fearless in his attempt to make an engagement ring that was unique and special.
At the end of the six-hour workshop, Danny had finished fabricating a truly bespoke engagement ring. The blue oval sapphire was set in the 14K rose gold mounting he made. The ring turned out great and looked professionally made. Now the next step was popping the question!
In The End – She Said Yes!
Returning back to the high school where they first met, Danny arranged an area complete with candles and roses. Dropping to one knee Danny popped the big question and offered her this ring he made with love. Needless to say, she said yes!
