Band Widths

Size examples

The width of your band is completely your preference, there is no right or wrong. However, the width will impact the weight and feel of the band, in addition to expressing your own specific style. Check out the descriptions and pictures on this page to help you find the size that is right for you.

Widths – recommended for the DIY workshop

  • 3 mm: (Spaghetti) : A traditional woman’s width, the works nicely next to an engagement ring, but still large enough to be worn alone.
  • 4 mm: Medium, the more common selection for a guy who wants a slim band or women who do not wear an engagement ring.
  • 6 mm: (Fettuccine): Not the largest possible, but is a very wide, bold, and a solid ring.
  • 7 mm: A large, wide band for a very bold look. This size of a band would typically be worn by itself.
  • 8mm: A big ring for a big hand! This will be a very thick and heavy band
