Making a Ring – How Long Will it Take?

The time to prep your surface and joints will take the most time. Time for your piece to pickle will take 5 to 10 minutes after soldering to remove the flux and fire scale.
4. Filing and Finishing – Using hand files versus power tools will impact the time required to finish out this step. Also your desired level of finish matters. On average this step might take an average skilled novice an hour to achieve a high level of finish.
5. Photography – If you have managed to successfully make your own wedding rings, you must take pictures of the final masterpiece. It is challenging to photograph jewelry. Photographing sparkingly stones isn’t easy and will take up way too much time.
